Since 2012, the Museum has organised the Dubrovnik part of the Festival of Science event, which, coordinated by the British Council, has been held in all major Croatian cities. The objective of the festival is to let the public feel better acquainted with science, in other words, to inform the public about activities and results in the area of science, to improve the public perception of scientists and to motivate young people for research and the acquisition of new knowledge. The intention of the Dubrovnik part is to include the university community, which contributes to the diversity and attractiveness of the programme.
