About the exhibition: Biological diversity is a source of food and medicines, and ecosystems have an irreplaceable role in the supply of air and clean water, regeneration of the soil and the regulation of the climate. Thanks to its position at the border of several biogeographical regions, Croatia is in terms of biodiversity one of the richest countries in Europe. The great diversity of terrestrial, marine and subterranean habitats has resulted in great species richness with a considerable number of endemics. The exhibition consists of 47 photographic prints by diverse photographers.
